The heart behind Sonderlust Images, rooted in Jasper, Alberta, I photograph stories of life in all it’s beautiful forms.
My style has been describe as intimate, candid and cinematic whereas my approach is playfully guided, soulful and unique to each individual that steps in front of my lens.
I'm all about love in its many forms , specializing in weddings, intimate elopements and lifestyle sessions that reflect real unfiltered moments. Being a Jasper photographer, I bring a storytelling style that's as emotive and wild as the landscapes that surround me. Rafting Elopement
Our rafting elopement experience is designed for couples who crave something unique, intimate, and truly unforgettable.
Starting at the base of the roaring Athabasca Falls, your journey begins with one of Jasper’s most iconic and dramatic landscapes. From there, you’ll set out on a private rafting trip guided by local experts, Rocky Mountain River Guides, navigating gentle class 2 rapids through a stunning canyon.
With approximately five hours on the river, there’s plenty of time to soak in the jaw-dropping scenery, pause for portraits, and even enjoy quiet moments to reflect on your incredible day. You can choose to exchange your vows before the adventure begins, during a peaceful stop, or after your rafting trip—it’s entirely up to you.

My approach is documentary-style, focused on capturing candid, heartfelt moments as they naturally unfold. When it comes to portraits, I keep things playfully guided, giving you space to soak it all in, connect with your person, and just have fun together.

Portraits & Lifestyle Sessions
Telling a story through photos has always been a passion of mine. Being able to hold onto a memory in a literal sense is so special.
Our session together will be more than an hour of posing. I will give you prompts, you’ll play games so your photos will be more relaxed, natural and fun! I challenge you to think outside the frame, we can wonder around in nature surrounded by the mountains or we can do something that’s part of your day to day. Have a favourite cafe, go to the farmers market every Wednesday? I am here to capture your photos in a way that’s unique to you.
I believe images come alive when you can hold it in your hands so I offer high quality albums, prints and more all made in Canada

We embrace nature in all its form, clouds, mist and even snow can be magical! That being said, if it’s pouring or unsafe, we’ll reschedule or adjust our plans to keep things relaxed and comfortable for everyone.

100% I will, but not in a stiff way. My approach to photoshoots is what I call playfully guided, so you get that candid feel to your photos and don’t feel stiff and awkward.
If being in front of the camera isn’t your thing – worry not, I got you!
For me, the difference is the feel, not the size. Elopements are intentionally intimate, whether it’s just the two of you or a handful of guests.
Weddings do tend to include a larger guest count and a more traditional structure.
I love sharing my work on Instagram and my website, it’s how most clients find me and get a feel for my style. That said, your comfort and privacy always come first, especially when kiddos are involved. I include photos in your gallery that don’t show faces (like hands, scenic moments, etc.) in case you prefer to keep things more private. You’ll also have the option to let me know which images you’re comfortable with me sharing—or none at all. No pressure, ever.
